Is there a connection between Jill Kelley's lawsuit and Hastings' Death?

It's been over 3 years since Michael Hasting's famous article in the Rolling Stone but it looks like the story of former NATO Commander Stanley McChrystal is not over yet, and it has come out that Mr. Hastings had an appointment set up with a representative for Jill Kelly for next week.  Kelley alleges that military officials and the FBI leaked her name to the media to discredit her after she reported receiving a stream of emails that were traced to Paula Broadwell, a biographer of former CIA director David H. Petraeus, according to a lawsuit filed in Federal District Court in Washington, D.C., on June 3. Petraeus resigned from the CIA after publicly admitting that he and Broadwell had carried on an extramarital affair.  So that's a CIA Director and a U.S. Commanding General in very high powered positions that had their careers and marriages ruined by Michael Hastings, in the eyes of those wronged.  I'm sure other jobs were let go as a result of both incidents, which leaves a long list of people that might have wanted Michael Hastings dead.

Today we hear from Hastings' wife, Elise Hastings, who is angry at the New York Times Obituary written by Margalit Fox for her husband.  In the Obituary, the NY Times follows the lie told by the DOD "inquiry" report of 2011, that no wrong doing was found on the part of Petreus or McChrystal.  The article is at The Huffington Post.  The powers that be want his story to disappear, that much is clear.  They thought by murdering him they could stop the flow of information but right now, they're worried about the flow of information coming from their own participating channels in the cover ups.
